If you blog, you really must also twitter. But, you must be an active twitter user for people to care what you blog. Being active means that you post web comments, replies, and information you don't post on your blog. I really enjoy writing for my blog and twittering. If I didn't enjoy it I wouldn't do it, because there is no money in doing it for a while - if at all.
