Ask yourself this, why do I comment on other blogs. The answer is based on few thing like link gathering, beneficial responses, helpful interactions and more.

Here are 5 tips about successful blog commenting, and what you could get for commenting on other people`s blogs.

First off, find your targets. Blog owners like comments, and furthermore they like relevant and to the point comments. The best place to find blogs that you can comment is Digg. Just head over to the category that interests you, in the upcoming section and find yourself 5 or 10 blogs to comment.

#1. Make a list of those blogs inside your RSS reader (simply subscribe to their feed) so you don’t need to copy paste every address to comment.

#2. Head over to Gravatar and submit a nice picture that represents you. Try hotornot if you like to know if you are hot or not.

#3. Submit valuable comments to the blogs you are reading, and do it often, at least 8-9 blogs per day. Eventually you will be a valuabe adition to that blog`s community and the blog owner will think of you more highly.

#4. Try and give to a post a addition to it`s content, if the comment is good, maybe the blog owner will include it in the post with a additional link to your own blog.

#5. Don’t run off when you see new blogs with no comments, often if you participate in the discussion, the owner will treat new and bold users more highly and possibly post a link in his blogroll for you.

These tips are just a small portion of what you can achieve by blog commenting. Just use them in moderation and with care. No body wants spam or junk comments.
