As a follow-up from the previous post, I decided to release 2 XML flash Galleries that are a must in almost every web project you develop.

XML Flash gallery

XML galleries are easily customizable using around 30 parameters available in the XML file. It can be used for both fixed size and resizable pages.

XML GALLERY DESIGNER

Xml Gallery Designer is used to create wide range of infinity structural galleries. Using customizePanel, it’s easy to customize and preview the gallery and also to generate the XML code. No need to edit the xml file, Just copy and paste the xml code. In the preview page I give 7 basic variations of the gallery.

Note: All galleries on the preview page are run by single swf file.

Unique Features:
General:

• Completely resizable.
• Background color automatically changes to match each image color. Options available to enable /disable this feature.
• Automatically hides thumbnails, description text, Next button and previous button to keep the look simple. Options available to Enable / Disable the auto hide.
• Browse multiple categories and add title for each category. Separate xml file for each category so it’s easy to add or remove the categories.
• Ability to choose Embed or non Embed font with adjustable font size, color, hyperlink and left/right margin with an option to add your own CSS file.
• Ability to align and set spacing for all objects: Title, description text, main image, thumbnail, dropdown menu, play / pause button, full screen button, next/previous button and Backgrounds.
• Show or hide objects: Title, description text, main image, thumbnail, dropdown menu, play / pause button, full screen button, next and previous button
• Easily to change the button graphics. Just open the FLA you can see all buttons on 3rd frame.
• Disable/enable the auto slideshow. Option to set delay time.
• Full screen mode options.

Transition Effects:

• Five different type transitions (Resize, Move, Fade, Diagonal fade and Radial fade).
• Option to set particular transition type or Random transition.

Main Image:

• Options to resize the large image to fit the main area / cover over main area /display without resize.
• Add title, description, link, target of link and Bg color (optional) for each image. Click over the large image will launch a URL .
• Load JPEG , PNG, GIF , FLV and SWF file.
• Resizable FLV player, so it fit to all dimension video with toggle full screen mode.

Thumbnails:

• Option for Horizontal / Vertical thumbnails arrangement, with auto sense number of thumbs displayed or adjust the number of thumbs display.
• Browse the thumbnail menu by scroll or forward backward button. Option to control the scroll speed.
• Option to change the thumbnail width and height, thumbnail image is automatically fit to thumb area.
• Control thumbnail border color, border size, border alpha, highlight color, highlight size, highlight alpha, Tint color, Tint alpha and thumb to thumb space. Ability to enable or disable the thumbnail rollover brightness effect.
• If thumbnail is not load the title text will show on the thumb area.

Source file:

• This is an AS2 file which will open in MX 8 and higher. The file size is only 38 Kb with video player. Without video player the file size is 32 kb.
• customizePanel is only available in source file.
• Load JPEG , PNG, GIF , FLV and SWF file.

• Ability to choose Embed or non Embed font with adjustable font size, color, hyperlink and left/right margin for description text
• Add title, description, link, target of link and Background color (optional) for each image. Click over the large image will launch a URL .
• Options to hide thumbnails, forward and backward buttons
• Load JPEG , PNG, GIF and SWF file.
