Make a… blog

So, you are sitting in front of your computer and think: OK, today I`m bored and I want to make a… blog. This is so simple to do, no fancy code knowledge necessary, no other things involved and a blog is one of the best ways to let your frends, family and other people know what are you doing.

Just like in the picture, you don’t need to get sleepy, just blog about it.

Ok, here is what you need for a blog:

#1 You need a domain name. First off think about what you love, like or interest you and choose a domain name based on that. For example if I love boats or cars I would register a domain name like iloveboats.com or bloggingaboutcars.com. The choices are endless.

#2 Get a webspace. My best experience is godaddy.com so head over and register a webspace. Also you can register a domain name along with a webspace so 2-in-1 situation.

#3 Get a blogging platform. I reccomend WordPress because it`s easy, light, simple to install, tons of great features, a lot of people use it, and FREE. Or you could use Blogger instead so you don’t have to pay for a domain and a hosting account.

#4 Install WordPress. The WP blogging platform is incredible easy to install, if you have a Fantastico option in you webspace control pannel then you can install WP automaticaly. If you don’t here is the tutorial.

#5 Get a wordpress template. You need a custom WordPress template to customize your blog so it looks, acts and shows off your atitude or interests. You can get a new template by accesing the “Add new Themes” option inside the wordpress admin board.

#6 Start blogging. Write about everything. Remember to be original, write for people, be clean and have fun with it and you shurely could get something more that fun out of it.
